Job Role: HR MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced HR Department Head to lead our human resources function in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing recruitment and hiring processes, overseeing employee benefits and compensation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in the construction industry.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company’s goals and objectives in the construction industry.
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process for various construction-related roles, including identifying job requirements, creating job descriptions, posting job ads, and conducting interviews.
- Oversee employee benefits and compensation, including salary reviews, bonuses, and employee incentive programs specific to the construction industry.
- Develop and implement employee training and development programs specific to the construction industry to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations in the construction industry, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and OSHA.
- Manage employee relations in the construction industry, including resolving disputes and conflicts, and conducting disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees in the construction industry on HR-related issues, policies, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the HR field in the construction industry and implement best practices as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of HR experience in any industry, including experience in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws and regulations specific to the construction industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Experience managing a team of HR professionals in the construction industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS software.
