Job role: Motivational Speaker.
Motivational speaker provide sales training, mentoring, and support services. They train and educate
sales staff from the point of their initial hire and on a continuous, ongoing basis. They develop and
implement training and professional development programs. They may also provide training to help
other staff members outside of the sales department strengthen and develop their sales skills. They
create, select, and develop curriculum and other resources for training programs. They may also assist
with the recruitment and hiring process by helping with the creation of job profiles or position
descriptions.
Job Description:
1. The first step to motivate and reward your sales trainees is to set clear and achievable goals for
their personalized sales training. Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and
time-bound (SMART). They should also align with their individual strengths, weaknesses,
interests, and career aspirations.
2. Establish training needs by collaborating with sales leadership, analyze sales KPI’s and
performance results.
3. Give tours to prospective members and enrolling prospects after tour process.
4. The continual development of quality new hire and continuation training programs and training
materials.
5. Develop individual and/or group training methods to meet the needs of the department.
6. Evaluate training program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
7. Create coaching components and knowledge articles to support continuation training and
performance development.
8. Provide a leadership role to mentor and coach sales agents as needed or requested by
leadership.
9. Build and sustain relationships using the appropriate interpersonal skills and communication
methods to build constructive relationships with customers, business units, service
organizations and other stakeholders to meet shared goals and objectives.
10. Contribute to the team’s success by demonstrating cooperation and collaboration while
participating in a group or team environment.
11. Actively participate in community-sponsored events and other outside opportunities to promote
the club.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, finance or related field.
* Impressive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a teaching position.
* Solid knowledge of the latest Sales training techniques.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
